The country side / het platteland

Hong Kong is of course so much bigger than just Hong Kong Island, there are the other islands, and of course Kowloon and the New Territories on the mainland. I am lucky enough to get to spend quite a bit of time there too, as this family have a couple of horses they keep in the stables in the New Territories. Very close to the border with China actually. As in within walking distance. Which I did of course.

Hong Kong is natuurlijk veel groter dan alleen het eiland Hong Kong, er zijn andere eilandjes, en natuurlijk Kowloon en de New Territories op het vasteland. Ik heb geluk dat ik daar best veel tijd doorbreng, omdat dit gezin een paar paarden heeft die zijn in stallen houden in de New Territories. Vlak bij de grens met China om precies te zijn. Op loopafstand zelfs. En dat heb ik natuurlijk een keer gedaan.
